The Cathedral Church "Rojdestvo Sveta Bogorodica" or some known as - just the "cathedral" was erected on a small square with a lovely view of the Tcarevec hill, Yantra river and The Assenova mahala.
Built in 1933-1934 years at the old Church "Rojdestvo Bogorodichno", the building is one of the most impressive and majestic in the old city today.
Here are buried Vasil Drumev, Metropolitan Sofronii and Metropolitan Antim.
