Vitosha is the oldest Park on the Balkan peninsula. It includes several reserves - Bistrishko Branishte and Peat Branishte. There are also the Golden Bridges - an amazing phenomenon known as a “Stone River” and consists of a ribbon of huge boulders running down the mountainside.
